4th of July - Independence Day Parade

Here are some pictures from our little excursion to the Independence Day parade in Rexburg.  I know, they're super late... but better late than never, right?? ;)  We were worried we were going to miss the parade... but no worries!  It was TWO hours long!  That's pretty much the longest parade I've ever heard of... lol.  We only stayed for 30 minutes because of the sun and sleepy "chillens."

Baby "A-a" and me (Jacob calls Aaron "A-a" when he's not "Baby"

So totally cool... upside down sunglasses.  Jacob is very into the accessories right now. =P

We thought this was so silly!  It's "Mitt Romney" and "Barack Obama" wearing boxing gloves... then some guy in a long black beard playing a banjo... It was a Ron Paul float.  We laughed!

The Ray's Carwash dance team... LOVE.

Oh how I'll miss you, Rexburg.... *sigh*

Super Mario brick wall?  I think yes.

Everyone enjoyed the parade... even Aaron!  But the ride home was merciless.  See that black mark on my baby's head?  That's from Jacob's shoe.  The facial expression says it all.

There was an AMAZING view of the moon right above the Temple.  But, alas, I don't have the right lens (or the right location) to get the awesome shot.  So, this was the best I could do.  It was so beautiful.  I'm going to miss seeing that every day and hearing Jacob shout, "Bem-bull!" or "Jeh-jew!" every time we drive by.
