Saturday was a VERY special day for us last week!! We celebrated the first 6 months of our eternal marriage. :) We can't believe how fast these last few months have flown by! It was nice to reflect and think of all we have learned, and how much we've grown as individuals and as a couple. We love being married to each other!
To make things even better, we also got to celebrate the 1st day of the 2nd trimester! Woohoo!!! Hopefully I can start feeling a little better soon! The weekend looked promising as I felt better than I had in a month! Unfortunately that didn't last long... but, we're still grateful to be moving forward and getting closer to that due date! Our last visit to the doctor was exciting. We got to see our little baby's head and arms! The Doc said everything looked "fabulous." How great!
Both Ben and I have been tired of just sticking at home all the time. But with me being sick, we don't have many options. Haha. So, Saturday night we invited Ben's sister, Holly over. I had been craving chocolate cake of all things. So Ben ran to the store and we made some German Chocolate cake... my favorite! Of course, I could only eat one piece without getting too sick! lol. Holly came over and shared the goodness, we all talked, then watched The Mummy Returns. Very romantic... not! hehe. But, we enjoyed it! lol.
Despite the challenges that have come with pregnancy, we're feeling so blessed. We've grown and learned a lot. And so many people have reached out to us and helped us tons. We're grateful for the good people around us, and for the goodness of the Lord. He has truly strengthened us through one of the hardest trials we've faced so far. We feel so humbled. We look forward to the ways our Father in Heaven will continue to teach us and prepare us for parenthood.
Yea! I saw on facebook that you ventured into this world! Congrats on the pregnancy. Hope you are feeling better soon and I really hope you are atleast somewhat better at the pregnancy thing than your mother was.
