We got to go visit Ben's family in McCall, and stop in Boise to see Ben's sister Candice and her husband, Travis, and their family (they, too, are waiting for a new arrival!). After a few days in McCall, we went to visit my family in Moscow. While we were there, my mom and sister, Amanda, ran their first 1/2 marathon! WOOHOO! They have been training for this for a while and plan to run a full marathon in the future. We are so proud of them for all the diligent hard work they've put into this goal. YOU GIRLS ROCK! :)
The week before our break began (the week of finals) was General Conference weekend/Easter Sunday... and another wonderful surprise: our new nephew arrived! Timed perfectly (as Ben's parents and sister were in town), Hans Jeffery Holland came into the world. Ben's brother, Nic, and his wife, Kari, couldn't be happier with the new addition to their sweet family! Elise, their oldest, is doing pretty good so far as an older sister. She helps mommy get things for Hans all the time.. it's so cute!! So, just to clear up any confusion, no we did not have our baby! The picture below is of our nephew!!! Hahaha.
Out on a family walk. :) Of course, the boys had to find some kind of competition to engage in. Ben Holland, Ben Bryson, and dad Bryson all had to try to climb the face of this rock... after a while of work, they all successfully made it up. Funny boys!
Ben and I in front of a still snowy and frozen Payette lake in McCall. Even though we were sick of snow, it was so beautiful there!
Hans Jeffery Holland (our nephew!) just a few hours old... he's so precious!
A trip with the Bryson gang to Elk Creek Reservoir. It was beeeautiful there! And MUCH warmer than McCall and Rexburg... thank goodness!
Our very first Easter weekend!!! We colored eggs at Nic and Kari's house with some of Ben's family.
Those are our April adventures... with many more to come! :)
